losi jrxt rear sway bar tell me what u guys think
well on my robinsaon racing jrxt bulid i really wanted to use the rrp side bulk heads but since i used the machined rear arms really have no use. so i came up with this idea i fabed up real quick with some spare parts. used a tamiya rear sway bar that i bent up with parma sway bar ends and made this sway bar. so what do u guys think. looks stupid or a good idea???

I only see it attached to one side of the car. That's not a sway bar unless I'm missing something.
Why not the Losi sub-forum...?

Okay, how are you going to connect each side to the same bar?

Well, here's how I made a rear stabilizer for one of my cars; it's a pretty simple idea, and 3Racing makes a stabilizer set that should provide most of the parts you need. You may have to custom-bend your own 1.5mm wire, though. Hopefully this might give you some ideas.

EDIT: I think for a stabilizer bar to work, it has to be a single bar that goes from left to right side. 2 separate bars won't do much to reduce the side-to-side twisting of the chassis that happens just before you roll.

Nope, you can't do that with two separate bars. If the suspension is not joined like above then the sway bar is not doing anything at all, or as you had it, is just acting like a spring.

Re: losi jrxt rear sway bar tell me what u guys think
i guess if i had a long enough peice of wire i could go through the sides of both bulkheads and than join the other rear arm since the top hole is high enough to clear the battery...... humm

This. ^
What you have is almost a torsion bar not a sway/anti-roll bar. It's doing the same job as the springs on the shocks.
