Faded JRX Pro wheels

Post by mikea96 »

I have a nice set of red Jrx Pro wheels that are faded like they sat in the sun and was wondering if there is a way to bring them back.

I'm going to pick up some red tommorow and try it.

I wonder if that works the opposite way. I have a new set of the dark orange wheels...but I need the light orange ones instead.

Yah while both bleach and leaving out in direct sunlight comes to mind unfortunately they both make the plastic brittle. (I did see the "I kid..") :)

:D

Might need to look into some artist techniques. If you find some way of using a paint that will stick to the wheel plastic that you could water down and coat over it. Let it dry and see if you need to reapply/layer the diluted "white wash". I'm definitely not an artist and I am looking for the opposite. I have wheels that I want to paint solid / fresh. If you come up with a good paint for the wheel plastic let us know!
