Don't know what you see but they were $199 on rc10.com for a long time. My LHS can't match that cause they PAID around $240 when they were released. They are stuck with em. lots of places are dumping them, so yes you will see them cheaper...but $199 is "street price" for them

That's an amazing deal, and they are losing money to get rid of em I bet they would still honor it

In the details it says because of the size of the car, the body will come shrink wrapped to the outside of the box

I am tempted to get one of these, not because I don't want to build, but because it would avoid all the missing or mismatched parts so many have reported in the kits.
((at least I hope they wouldn't send out a roller with missing idler gear or slipper assembly rubbing on the motor plate...))
I think you nailed the "why" they are doing it part

i only paid $179 from a main like a month ago. u can find em from $180-$220 on ebay nib
As mentioned above they are having poor Don build a bunch of em to get rid of em! Probably easier than dealing with the problems the kit was bringing. Nothing special except that the parts will all be there and correct (where the kit could be missing parts and have poorly fitting top shaft etc)

Oh, you guys were serious about this? I'd missed this when I first saw the description - "Expertly built in house by Team Associated’s tech staff and racers." Racers too? They must've had a build party.
A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.
Boiling water.
Simple green.
Toothbrush and pipe cleaners.
Brass brush on the Dremel and...

Final piece added.
The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.
I've putting together an all-in-one kit for those that want to get their boxart rere Kinwald cars a little closer to the original, or for those who are looking to make a correct replica. The kit will contain:
1 - Front shock tower in 2.5mm 3k woven...

I kinda doubt it. Too high of a material cost and I doubt the demand is there to make it worthwhile.
I need some help remembering the details from back in the day. So I have an RPM kit still in the bags never opened and I just don't have any love for it as an RPM car. Does the RPM kit actually duplicate a certain one off car or are some of the...

yes, I had one of those too bitd, flipped the front around to put the tower in front, still have some of the og deck standoffs in my box. I never detailed it to be like masamis but that is how I am leaning. I guess it's just a matter of committing...
I was just wondering if anyone is still making these chassis kits, either the NIX91 or the Justin/Fred version? Maybe someone has a spare that they'd like to sell or trade?
Thanks in advance

Actually, as another option, if you order a full set of 91 Stealth parts (Niki's for example) and this book by Steve Husting (the photos provide an excellent reference), you have pretty much everything needed to design your own chassis plates. It's...
Hey guys, recently I've been gaining interest in building my own Worlds edition RC10, however, the only thing I can go buy at this point is pictures of other peoples rides I've found on the net. Could we get a Do It Yourself thread going here with...

Yep is white, I would prefer black though. I'm kind of looking to do a What if I was Masami's teammate
