How to: rebuild bottom loaders with Traxxas 2362 kit

This is a popular way to rebuild your bottom loaders. I would still recommend using associated cap and shaft orings
Rebuild in the same was as the manual shows, using associated orings in place of the blue ones shown in my pics.
You can use the diaphragms if you wish, i find that they don't seal well. Standard cap orings are better.
I recommend green slime during install, it will help keep from cutting the o-rings and make the assembly easier

Just took a quick look- the clips are much smaller on the kyoshos, and the bottom washer is much larger as well. The narrow washers look usable, and the thick spacer is too thick. Looks like we are better off looking elsewhere. I bet I can find clips, and I know I can get orings lol...the thick spacer would be the toughest part

So why did you put the blue rings in?
Is the height of the traxxas seals/spacers the same height as Associateds?

don't use the blue x-rings. I found them to not seal well in these bodies.
The spacers are the same size as associated.

I was just looking at Custom Works MDX shocks and they use a clip like the Kyosho Golds but not sure about the size. Guide washers look like they've got potential to replace the Kyosho spacer as well.
