Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
Lots of hop-ups in the tool box for this one. Not sure which direction i'll be going with this build but will do my best to add pics as I go.
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Scr8p says the litespeed heatsinks should only go on flat graphite chassis' with no rear pickup. I think that's why the comment?

Re: Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
Seeing a litesink motor plate on a tub chassis drives me nuts. Theres nothing to attach to the chassis on the back. At least on a normal graphite chassis you can leave the motor guard off.slotcarrod wrote:scr8p wrote:

Ok!
Your worried about it snapping the rear off, or just a looks sort of thing?

Re: Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
When bolted together the motor plate strengths the chassis. Without it, you get flex and can bend the rear chassis easier

Re: Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
I haven't given up on this build yet. I thought I had a aluminum trans case coming for the build but it's not going to happen. I'm going to dig in the
old parts bin and see what I can find to get this build going again. I'll post some pictures once I figure it all out.

Looks good, gotta love these tubs. I almost bought a second one not so long ago but it had a broken hole on the rear and my sniper was not shooting high enough it seems. It went for 76$ I think. I'm really honoured to have inspired you for this build! What's that front shock tower?

Re: Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
Thanks for your input...I'm thinking you meant what's that "rear"shock tower right? I had several sets laser cut out of aluminum at a local machine shop. I've either given, used, or sold all of them but do have one front tower left for this build. This will just be a shelfer as most of mine are. I've just got several things going right now and really need to get this one finished.

Re: Fusion Speed New Build Asso_man Inspired !
oops no I see now, I thought your last update was the last picture which actually belongs to minimini, I was intrigued by the front tower which has passing through holes for the front tubes. Keep us posted these tubs are "la crème de la crème"

i got outbid on that one. should've gone bigger, $75 didn't cut it.Asso_man! wrote:I almost bought a second one not so long ago but it had a broken hole on the rear and my sniper was not shooting high enough it seems. one of the holes up front were screwed up too, you could see it was CA'd. had i got it, it probably would've become a sort of twin to my #2.
