Here's an action shot from last weekend. This is Jeremy Harris battling with Jason Ruona. Their times were equal to the top stock buggy guys.

So even though this isn't my favorite body, I ordered one up today. Why? It has window masks. I am pretty bad at painting and the lack of window masks in the original RC10 body is making it darn near impossible for me to tape off the windows properly.

So all that to say, thank you JConcepts for including window masks with your body. My Classic is looking forward to having it's own body.

One option part I'd really like to see from JConcepts is a bearing cap for the e-clip end of the top shaft on the 6 gear tranny.

Got my body today and I must say it looks a whole lot better in person than it does in pictures. I had visions of trying a dual color paint job, but alas, I think it will be a single color like al the rest of my bodies :? .

Here's mine. Not very fancy (I can't paint) but will serve its purpose. The more I look at it on the car, the more I like it.

The Detonator is in action again this weekend at the JConcepts Indoor Nationals hosted by smactrac. Be sure to check out pictures of Jason Ruona and Tanner Denney rockin the Detonator bodies as well as all the other JConcepts vintage offerings. On a side note, Tanner is actually racing my car this weekend. He's been plagued by ballcups popping off but they are replacing them all and gearing up for another run at BK and his worlds car. My car was also raced at the Reedy race and the chassis was signed by Cliff Lett. I will try to post pics when I turn my laptop on again. Check out the JConcepts Facebook page for pics from this weekends event.

I guess I need to build that kid a car! I'm surprised he hasn't dyed all your parts black yet. :)
