New member from France
Hi everebody, just thought I'd introduce myself.
I live in France. I started RC in the late 1980s.
my first car :
Kyosho Raider
MRC MRX
Kyosho Lazer
Traxxas TRX1,
After 15-year stop, I returned to the RC when I found my TRX1 with my son in 2009.
Since then, I have a passion for restoring cars that were reversible when I was younger.
I currently have as a restored car :
Schumacher Cat XL, Procat, Bosscat
Kyosho Ultima 1
Traxxas TRX1
MRC MRX, Santana, Santana Junior.
I present you my car in the futur thread.
Sorry if my English is not perfect.

Hi and welcome
That´s a nice list of cars, but please add an AE RC10 to Your list, otherwise You´ll be in trouble
The majority of this site doesn´t aknowledge the eksistence of Kyosho - They´re so envious of the 4wd Optimas

Re: New member from France
Kiceki,
Would you mind explaining the differences between the 4x4 Santana versions, please?
I'm just curious about what was improved over the time.
Looking at the chassis shape, I think mine is the first model released but I can't find info on the release date... Do you know it?
I'm preparing this car for a vintage race in June.

Re: New member from France
Bienvenue,
Nice collection, I allways got interest for the TRX1
I have had an MRC Santana 4X4 in the early 90's, not my best racer's "souvenir"
Phil.

Re: New member from France
Woa, that's a long time ago...
If I remember well , weakness of my car (non options one) was the un-dustproof transmission and the poor quality shocks.
But the main trouble i had at the time with this car was its outdated conception compare to other brands models like YZ10, Lazer or Bosscat.
...Nothing to worried you.
Just check the correct belts tension and it will be good enough for a vintage ride.
