Project YZ-10 "M&M" version (May 27th, 2018 updated)
Being one of the Yokomo enthuists like many fellow members here....... always keep an eye on any kind of special edition Yokes.......
Lucky enough to get a special Yokomo chassis recently ........ with the great help of Mike........plus the slow motion of minimini .......the project YZ-10 (M&M version = Mike & Mini version) can EVENTUALLY get started......
Let's have a look at the recipe first.......
Kose red universals (for Tomy EX but also suit Yokomo, not durable but beautiful) & red wheel hubs
F & R belts from Tough Racing because the original belts are not easy to get now ....... I won't run it tough for sure.....
center shaft with one-way & steering bell-cranks from LHS in Hong Kong
steering hubs from Top M-car
Stay tuned.......

having the steering knuckles & rear hubs done......
red C-hubs are from the brand "Square" ...... for Tamiya TB Evo 3.....while the rear hubs are Tamiya TA04 2deg reinforced.......
this config is quite similar to my "Project Tomy EX" .......

Beautiful. I hope you stick with the red theme for all the hardware, that'll look awesome. A set of 3Racing red alloy ball studs and/or hex balls to pimp up the various linkages might be worth a look.

Looking promising...I also used those universals on the intruder on the intruder I recently put together.
They actually made up of two parts that screw together - the one half being th dog bone shaft and the other being the shaft for the wheel.
I think you will have to apply thread lock to ensure they don't unscrew whilst the car is in motion as his happens on my intruder!

a real bad news for me today.....while I tried to polish the shinny edges of the graphite plates ...... I found the countersink holes on the lower chassis were all done on the opposite side !!.......
sigh......I need to find someone to cut another one ASAP......
poor me......

too bad was it a custom chassy ?
i use to have a yz10 with rpm bulkheads, arms, and the one way drive .. it was a blast
i just didnt care for the idler for the front belt.. if you didnt have enough tension on it the belt would skip
