Dying HPI five star wheels
So can you dye these wheels? I bought some RC10 ones in pink and they are pretty rough and would look better in black!
Cheers in advance.

Yes those can be dyed. HPI never offered those in pink, just dyeable white, black, and chrome.

Yup, I got a set of aqua colored wheels with a LXT a few months ago, and they came out nicely as black.
Aqua..... Honestly, what were they thinking?

We've all asked ourselves that very same question at least once or twice. You should have seen the last Kyosho truck I bought.

Re: Dying HPI five star wheels
I've never seen the orange...I don't even have those listed in my catalog (old hpi...before they were making cars).
What I have seen, is that HPI often painted (chrome or gold) over different color wheels. I had a nip package of gold that were actually molded in green and yellow...painted and sold in the same package.

highwayracer

i have a pair of white rears that i've been holding on to for quite some time. maybe if i get rid of them, i'll finally find a pair of white fronts.
