Track master chassis request

Post by NCOHOG »

I have always liked this chassis from track master. Does any body have one they would be willing to scan. I just need an image so I can scale it and machine a similar version of it. Thanks

I have a graphite and fiberglass conversion chassis, but they're too long for my scanner. I'm not sure how to go about getting a good scan since the chassis won't be able to lay flat. :?

I thought the chassis were flat wirh no kickup? Could you maybe scan the chassis twice? One for the front to just past middle and one for the back just past the middle?

How about trace it out, fold the paper in half, and scan both sides. Then you can reattach the halves in Photoshop or equivalent.

I guess I never even thought about just tracing it on a piece of paper. I guess when you use fancy modeling and cam software all day sometimes you forget about how simple things can be. If some one would be willing to trace one out on a piece of paper and mail it to me i would be very grateful. If given an address i would even send a self addressed stamped envelop.

Now since we are on the subject does anyone have a Lucus agitator conversion chassis that they could trace as well?

Thanks,
BJ
