RC racing in South Korea (Photos posted)
Thanks to 59Burst, I will be attending a race this weekend here in South Korea. He told me there is a vintage race so I have my JRX Pro SE ready to go in 17.5 blinky mode. It will be the first time I get to drive the car so I am expecting trouble at first working out the bugs. I will also bring my Optima Mid as well sporting an 8.5 to turn laps, possibly race as well if there is a 4wd class.
I plan on getting some photos while I am there and I will post the pics for you guys when I get back. Here are pics of the cars I am bringing with me.

don't forget to put a nut on the losi rear wheel
say hi to Hyeong for me and should you see some vintage academy runners; try to get some tricks and pics for me please.
(Especially griffin and wyvern buggies would be tops)

Re: RC racing in South Korea
Is there a thread on the optima mid build? I am interested in what wheels and body. I might put one of mine back into service and modern rubber would be nice as well as a nice new body.

Re: RC racing in South Korea
There's a ton of options for 12mm hex, 2.2" wheels. No disrespect to Seabass of course (he's machined some parts for me in the past) but disk-style 2.2" 12mm hex wheels are very common; they're all over eBay.biff85ta wrote:Is there a thread on the optima mid build? If you have any questions about anything I did to the car, please feel free to ask. The arms on the car were machined to make up the difference in offset for the newer wheels.
