Whole lot of Andy's build,
Whole lot of Andy's build,
Thanks to the member that sold me all the Andy's parts on ebay. I had the chassis powder coated and threw in this ESC and motor to screw around...obviously too much. So, Andy's bulkheads, arms towers, battery cup (which takes a full size lipo BTW), knuckles, and a few other parts. RPM gear cover and ball ends, Lundsford turnbuckles, houge steering, and some other miscellaneous parts you may or not see because of my cruddy pics. still waiting on my new white wheels and thinking about body options...The extra cap that's in the 6 gear tranny hole was just something I was trying to see if I like the look of, still got to take it out...carefully.

Re: Whole lot of Andy's build,
ok, I guess nobody likes my buggy/build. Maybe someone will like the next one I'm collecting parts for. No worries, I love it and I'm really liking the prospective look and build of the next one.

I like the all blacked out effect...personally I'd leave the white wheels for the other build

Re: Whole lot of Andy's build,
Hi i am redoing my ten and i am going to run 2cell lipo also a brushless can you tell what kv motor you use? I am using a 2056 traxxas servo with the tq traxxas receiver for now.at first i was also going to use a 12turn traxxas motor and speed control but since my other rc's run lipo and i like the fact you dont have to maintain the brushless i figure thats the way to go.i plan on running the run what you bring class and vintage so i understand i will be buying a few different motors but whats a general one to go with? I do have a 2800kv for another car but also have a 3800kv traxxas setup.but i saw scraps post that had a 5700kv thats why i was wondering what you are using.thanks
My pop always said i had to many iron's in the fire

Re: Whole lot of Andy's build,
Ha. Very nice. I love the black also. Its the way I build nearly everything. Also love the Andy's parts. I'm currently building an old BBT/Ascot Sprinter using all Andy's chassis components. Still trying to find the right Andy's buggy chassis. Keep up the build and post pics. Anxious to see your body choice...NVGCadre wrote:ok, I guess nobody likes my buggy/build. Re: Whole lot of Andy's build,
Your buggy looks great. Those power wires look beefy. I love The Andy's stuff also and on my ascot sprinter, I even cut an Andy's molded chassis doqn to the shape of the ascot chassis.
