Lazer ZXR ball diffs - Optima ???

Post by Bormac »

I have a couple of spare ZXR ball diffs and got to thinking, are these able to be fitted to a belt converted Optima?
Obviously I will need to source different pulleys but wanted to be sure the outdrives and carriers from the Lazer diffs would work with this-

Can any of you Kyosho experts let me know please?

I am 99.99% sure that the only difference is the pulley between the Mid and Lazer ball diffs

That's good news. I guess I wondered if the metal parts are the same.

If you buy one, let me know, because the spur gear set for the Optima Mids/belt-converted Optimas is outrageously expensive on eBay these days.
