what type of chassis set up station for a rc10 b3 buggy

Post by twiningmike »

i am looking for a chassis set up station for a associated rc10b3 buggy, i cannot seem to be able to find a set up station to be used for a 1/10 buggy, i see them for 1/10 road cars, 1/10 tmaxxs trucks, 1/8 scales ect but nothing saying any for a 1/10 buggys or 1/10 rc10t3 trucks , i have b3's and t3's and need a chassis set up station for them, does anybody know what kind i can use for them, mostly i need it for the associated rc10b3 buggy any companies name , model numbers ect would be a great help , or let me know that there is none are made for buggy's, thank you

unless you have a pivot ball type suspension, i see no real need for a setup station. a flat surface and a camber gauge should be all you need.

I use four gem scales to get corner weights and adjust side-to-side and front-to-rear balance. Since buggies turn left and right (as opposed to oval racing) I shoot for 50/50 side and a 60/40 rear. Camber and caster can be checked and set on a good flat board. I found kitchen sink cut-outs make nice bases. All remaining adjustments are based on on-track performance. I've found off road is not as critical as flat asphalt or carpet racing.
ALL OVAL RACING:
SC10 Late Model
SC10 Modified
SC10 Bomber
Cobra Nemesis Sprint
B4 Street Stock
TC3 Late Model
