Can anyone help with confirmation please?

Post by howsyouraspen »

Picking this up locally. I believe this is a stock YZ10 '94, with Assoc Team Car shocks. I've always wanted one, but just never REALLY familiar with the Yokes. The guy says it's in good shape. Juts needs a good cleaning.

Also, I'd like to make it a runner. Will newer Associated/Yoke wheels fit, so I can run modern 2.2 rubber?

Again, thanks in advance gentlemen! (Sorry only 2 pics I have of it at the moment)

yes sir, that's a stock '94, with rear wheels-tires on the front.

As for modern wheels fitting, I think JC Wheels out of England are the best bet. Hopefully one of the other Yokomanics will help us out.

^ Thank you Sir. I've seen some of those JC wheels on Oople and what not. Might be the best bet. Seems like there are issues with the offsets tho.

Yep, she's a looker! Lovely 94.......id go with JC wheels, got a set myself and they are really good, and cheap, picking up genuine webbed wheels is a nightmare and they are crazy expensive to use, from new that is. Go pink for that crazy neon retro look.......

Cool, thanks Lee. I will most def be doing a retro theme of some sort. I really like how your Masami rep turned out. Super clean! I love the pink wheels, but If I can't find any, I might go with black. The guy I'm picking it up from says there are a 2nd set of wheels. So we'll see when I pick her up.

-Thanks scr8p. (Btw, finally looked through your collection. Pretty damn amazing!)
