Haha - the 'Bandit' sticker on the roof of the shell seems very apt for how much you got this for!!

This Yokomo looks to have had very little use - the addition of the new Lexan & a little clean up should have this old 'Dog' looking really nice.

P.S; the shock are Kyosho Option House golds... pretty much the best shocks you could buy Bitd (& still comparable to modern units today!). The original Yokomo shocks were pretty poor & were normally swapped in favour for some more reliable items from another manufacturer (normally AE due to the link with Yokomo) those Kyosho shocks are the icing on the cake

This also has a top deck rather than the chassis spline. Its a Jammin Jay Hasley graphite top deck with tensioner - nice upgrade!

The Peroxide+UV trick does work to a degree on the white Yokomo parts, but doesn't seem to be quite as effective as it is on Associated parts.

well got this finished up . mr lexan makes a great body way better than mr TBG. built a 7 cell pack out of some old ni cads and put a 410 m5 in it. a n l steering rack is a very nice piece as are the bullet wing mounts. also picked up a 870c for the next project

That looks great Dave! I went on a bit of a spree last year and ended up with 4 of these. My favorite one is my first, pink body and bad flames and all!Very cool cars in my opinion.
