I just picked up a Airtronics CS2P with a 99236 receiver and am trying to figure how to use futaba connectors on it, but I seem can't to recall whether or not that airtronics stuff was wired differently?? Is the signal wire the same way as "futaba"? (to the inside of receiver) or was the positive and negative different? ...or are the same as "futaba" ..... or am I just getting old...?
The old style receivers had power and ground swapped. Signal towards the center of the RX just like fut/Jr but power towards the edge of the case and Ground in the middle.

Newbie question: what are these two black and red wires supposed to be connected to?
They come out of the receiver with the slot marked batt.
I presume that is short for battery so do I need to run another small battery
just to these two wires? Or...
I recently picked up a nice little Hitec Shredder RCD 75mhz AM receiver, however it's marked AIR so I presume it's tuned for Airtronics. There's no real wiring markings on it and I have no 75mhz AM Airtronics radio. Is there any way to test this...

That Dynamite MicroPro has old style Airtronics servo sockets, so it should need a Airtronics crystal.
I have two, Futaba and Airtronics versions. The manual says to use crystals that match the transmitter.
I have the Airtronics 2.4Ghz FHSS-2 3CH Receiver -MX-4 .. I think I'm held to Airtronics only receivers.. I have the RX37w that goes for around 48 bucks.
Is there another maker that has fhss-2 that work with the MX-4 ? I have a Flysky radio and...

Yea my search came up with nothing. You have to use the AirTronics only. Got one from Ebay for 40. The last one I got from Amain for 49 when they came back in stock.
Guys, I completely stripped down & rebuilt my main motor. I don't even have a clue what it began life as originally, but it had 14 x 1 marked on the armature, I'm assuming that to be a 14T wind. It was a 4-minute motor I believe.
Anyway, on to my...

Ahh yes, now I remember that. I am running 2.4ghz even with old stuff so maybe that is why I have not noticed interference.
This servo came with some random parts I bought. I have looked a bit and can't find how to wire the extra wire. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this servo?
Thanks,
Scott

I was able to confirm operation of the servo by attaching to a receiver and putting a separate voltage to the blue wire, seems to work great.
So the wires from the servo in the harness are: blue (signal) red (pos) black (neg); and the lone blue...
I know this is more of a scaler thing but its still electrical lol

why are there three wires? Does it use the brown for ground, and orange and red are both outputs?
You might actually want to use the ESC BEC for the receiver and speed controller, and use the UBEC for everything else.
