Mystery Vintage CX12 pan car???
Hey all...
Put this in the 'just because' category.... won this car on eBay recently, and was hoping to properly ID it manufacturer-wise, as my Google search led me nowhere but astray....
Take a look at the pics, and maybe it sets off a memory for one of you guys....
No body, but I do have a NIP vintage body that may suit.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Alex

Very nice! You can tell it is "heavily influenced" by the 12e:-) besides the front suspension it looks very "compatible"

Re: Mystery Vintage CX12 pan car???
Well, the car arrived today.... and I'm no closer to finding any more information on it! The brand on the manual is "Lee's Enterprises", with a UK Patent number, but the box has "Manufactured by Cibie Models Inc., Made in Hong Kong". As expected, a Gurgle search of "Cibie Models" brings up lots of Super Oscars but not a lot else.... lol...
Will get some more pictures up in the next few days.

Price was quite acceptable.....
I have a couple of options on a body for it, just weighing up my options at the moment....
Very interesting car, but definitely has the feel of a knockoff.... and should be interesting to drive with a solid rear axle...
