New to the board

Post by Harrylarry »

Yes I finally after leaching off the site for a year or so joined. I will post some pics soon. The real question is I have 3 gold pans. 2 a stamps both are cadilac cars 6 gear and the other is a very late model ce with all black parts stealth case black all suspension is black and it has the screws holding the front axles in. I believe it's from like 96. Should I not be running This one? Small outdoor track in backyard. But I still worry about breaking things. I never seem to see the black shock caps. Pics soon. Ps I'm going to and have been sourcing old is new parts. Want some input as to what one or get a 4th tub. My wive hates the obsession. Father in law has an old sonic fighter and uncle has a frog and an old losi truck we race from time to time. Thanks

]Right now 2 of the 3 run. The ce has worlds yellow 2.2 wheels on it. One is just apart for cleaning and possibly fitting a ce front end on. Just a quick assembly and all three are good to go. Should I switch over to the thunder tiger axles All 4 4 corners or just order the Eurpoean wheels are they durable not like the duracracks. Wish I could dye them. Daughter wants some green or purple wheels. It's nice if they are all the same as part interchange but I can't do 3 oin builds. I'm on a budget.

The Thundertiger rear Phoenix BX2 rear wheels are very durable- and the Duratrash fronts I've never had any trouble with, (Damn I just remembered I forgot part numbers for another member  )

Yeah I would love to convert all 3 runners to b4 wheels but I so have some budget. I got a set of b4 cvds they will work best with the custom arms by bigjeepz? Correct? I think I've read that correct before. Is everyone just reaming the tiger wheels out or is are we changing axles? Thanks

Here is what was posted for using bigjeepz arms.

To complete your Old Is New RC10with these arms you will need a couple specific parts which are all still readily avaiable. The rear is critical for proper fit and function.

RPM RC10T/RC10GT Rear Hubs #7027
3/16 x 1/2 bearings (4), ($1.00 each at Avid)
B4 Rear CVDs (MIP or AE will work)
B4/T4/SC10 Lower shock mounts

I'm. Assuming I'll need bst to buy bigjeepz arms? That will give me full roar legal width in the rear correct? As opposed to the klien arms?

Does anyone have the lower shock mount mentioned part number? I am not having much luck. Searching for that one. All I need now is jeepz arms and those mounts and some patientce waiting for things to arrive.
