Been running this old monster quite a bit recently. I'm thinking it might be time to tear it down and make a few improvements. In the meantime, here's some hot Clod action for your Wednesday evening:
Hello all, I see a few familiar faces from clodtalk here. I figured I'd share my latest clod-build here. Not as crazy as some of my previous builds, but I think it's proving to be pretty well-balanced.
Basically stock, except for the e-maxx shocks...

So I have a Clod thats got a CPE aluminum chassis and great shocks and 2 Hobbywing EZrun MAX10 ESC's with 4000kv motors. The hobbywing ESC's are soldered together for 1 battery. Right now I am using a 2s Lipo. Could I change to 5400KV motors for...
I have an old original Clod here that I recently found some interest in running. Problem is, 3 out of the 4 rear shocks fell off at the top mount. The screws and nuts are no big deal. What I'm looking for is those little bushings that go inside the...

If you are looking for Clod parts try here. A lot of hop ups can be found here as well.
Anyone know the answer to the question of whether you can fit original Clod Buster wheels/tyres to the original Blackfoot and, if so, please could they let me know how it is done/which parts are necessary?
Thanks a lot.

Back in the mid 80's, for a birthday, my father bought a Rock Buster from our local hobby shop. I remember him assembling it on my grandmothers kitchen table. Had a ton of fun with it as a kid until a neighbor brought home an RC10, lol.
Here’s the start of my first ever Clodbuster build. Really no clue how to build a monster truck and I don’t always like to build off of proven platforms so I’m going back to my old school crawler roots and scratch building as much as I can. Here’s...

I was ready to make the (final version) of the chassis but was put on hold until I had electronics. That stalled me out because I wasn’t ready to buy at the moment and now I’m just lacking motivation to RC. I’ll get to it one day.
