my first rc car

i bought my first 1:10 nitro car on craigslist payed $25 it didnt have a engein so i just bought a hpi t-15 star

Good luck with the new acquisition. You are going to need a set of engine mounts for that engine, and will have to drill the aluminum plate for said mounts to get that in there.

do you know what kind of flywheel and clutch i need for the engine?

I don't know exactly off hand, but I think all 1/10 nitro stuff uses 32 pitch gears. So whichever clutch bell/flywheel etc. that fits that engine should mate with the car's spur. Making slots for the engine mounts on the aluminum plate in the fore aft direction will allow you to adjust the gear mesh.

The smartest thing would be to just buy a used Sandmaster off eBay. For example this one went for under $20 and is more or less complete: http://www.ebay.com/itm/280870676221

thanks losiXXXman i am going to cut out slots for the engine to mont it just need to buy a flywheel and get they all done be for i put it in the car so it all line up and stuff ill pit more pic up when i have the motor in

I actually made a vid of my MT2 with this engine just a few days ago, but it was not winding out completely.
