I always use the double sided tape thing but i use the duratrax stuff an two or three years now an they are still there strong as ever.. I prep stuff to be taped with prepsol aka prep wash aka wax an grease remover...

I use double sided tape too, with the rerelease rear bulkhead and a small square cut in the cup, I can fit 6000mah 2S hardcase LiPo.

Lately I've been using a front T2 "cup", works good if you don't care about being period correct

I now have available battery straps for my transverse shorty pack battery cups, printed in Nylon.
I'll make these available at Shapeways in the next day or two, but for now I have 3 available for immediate shipment. The price is $8 plus shipping....

The width is 1.86 , and the length is 3.80 .
I've run several brands of shorty packs in them and they have all fit nicely. 8)

This is for a AYK super trail I'm working on. I will make myself a plate to fix the battery on. I'd like to find some battery holder system similar to the RC10 but with a cum a bit wider for my NiMh batteries. Maybe something from Tamiya or another...

You could split the AE cups down the middle and double stick them to the chassis at the correct width. Then to fabricate a longer hold down strap should be easy. If you don't like the gap then two cups could be cut and combined to make one wider cup...

Finally available! Now there is another option for mounting battery packs in the RC10, no drilling required!. These battery cups have the same look as the originals, but have an added boss on them that allows them to bolt in to the existing holes...

I’m looking forward to Spring big time for a lot of reasons. Here are a few in no particular order…
1. More bashing
2. More racing
3. I grill year round, but I can only get the big smoker out when it’s warm
4. Golf
5. Softball
6. Playing outside...

Going to watch Dirt oval shows at various tracks
Hopefully a summer concert or 2
Drinking some Barley pops outdoors

Am I the only person on the planet that thinks these things are hideously ugly? What happened to the traditional style bodies like on the older buggies? I keep hearing people say that the new bodies have a functional purpose as the forward cab aids...

I hated the bodies at first because of appearance... But I can notice a difference in them and if I can, anyone can. Get an older one and a newer one and go to the track and test and you will see...

Quite honestly I’m just done with Oregon. The wife would make more money due to lower taxes, and with her job being transitioned to remote anyway it just makes sense. Since I work from home it doesn’t matter where I’m located. We could easily sell...
