I want to build a 4-2 chassis Dogfighter.
For as long as I could remember I always wanted to build a similar car to the one Masami and the other Yokomo Team drivers drove at the 89 Worlds in Australia.
I have an 870c with the 91 model suspension arms and hubs but I know these will need to be swapped out with some original rears to go up front and a pair of wider delrin arms with AE hubs for the rear.
Also the chassis will need to be swapped out for the 4-2 design. I am prepared to machine this myself but I will need to work out a design to copy from.
If you are in a position to assist me can you drop me a PM and we'll go from their.
Pics to be added shortly.

hey Jason,
I've also been wanting to put one of those cars together. Here's a picture of the chassis.
Regards,
Roger

I have some SCE cells which I could run but might save them ones for display only. I have a pile of SCRC cells begging to be run.

Re: I want to build a 4-2 chassis Dogfighter.
Given the basic layout of an 870c, I could probably work off that picture and get something pretty close drawn up. If we are trying to repro an actual specific item, then my version will be off, but I could surely make it fit and work.

thats the closest layout to masami ive seen....so anything like that would be grateful.
