Hogue RC10 trailing arm question
Ok so i got a set of Houge trailing arms off eBay. Will they only work with a Houge chassis? can they be used on a AE graphite chassis?

They work best on a houge chassis but you can use small brackets to adapt to any graphite chassis. I ran them like that for years but my brackets made the wheelbase a little short. I can snap some pics if you'd like.

Re: Hogue RC10 trailing arm question
OK, I had a trinity/composite craft chassis, not sure which. The last hole in the chassis on the outer edge I used to locate the small brackets. I then needed to drill two holes, so the arms are held on with three holes, the outer hold of the arm mount is just on the bracket. BUT, the wheel base was about .2" too small, with the arms level, I made the bones not quite parallel, and should have made them back a little. I'm not sure how much meat is on the back of the AE chassis, but if there is room to move it back, you should.

Thanks,
I wonder if i can make a variation of the A&L brackets? I might use them for a runner for another VONATS option lol

Re: Hogue RC10 trailing arm question
that looks like the setup on one of my old trucks.
i do recall this truck was pretty fast 20 yrs ago.
was this meant for street use or what.
it does make it less wide witch makes it steer real well.
if i recall correctly.
i could be wrong i got to get this old truck going again.
check it out.
