Kyosho 360 mega motor
Hello, does anyone know if these kyosho 360 mega motors run hot? The reason I ask is because the Leman 05 motor use to smoke during long runs on my big brute.

The 360 motor is a 550 can. (More torque.)
Don't over gear it. Brushed motors don't like being run for long periods of time.

The Lemans 05 motors are garbage, basic motor shouldn't even use them to run. That motor you have there will run much better.

Haha, I run two of those in my Clod sometimes.. The rear is the reverse rotation obv.
They do pack a good amount of bottom end, more than enough to move my aluminum chassis Clod.

I ran 2 of them in the Clod Buster I had, at the time it was either these or the matched set Trinity made, the Mega motors were less expensive which was the deciding factor, from what I remember of them they were strong reliable motors, I don't think I ever had any really big issues with heat, at least not any more than with the other motors I had run.

Re: Kyosho 360 mega motor
I had a lemans stock 05 in my shadow and raider 22 years ago, they had no ball bearings, they used brass bushing instead, so after spend a battery of 1200 or 1500 mah, they were too hot to support another run. I usually let them to cool 15 or 20 minutes before next run,so mine never smoked, but as with modern batteries running times has extended x4, it surely gets hot enough to smoke, getting damaged.
Mega 360 will surely goes ok
