Clean RC10GT find

Post by romulus22 »

Browsing eBay ran across a very nice never driven later year GT. was planning on bidding until I saw the location. He lived 10 min away from me so I contacted him and purchased it cash in hand before any other bidders made it to it. I'm very happy with its condition. I did think I was buying the #7072 model including the CV motor but it was the #7065 model and the guy installed the CV motor. either way it was a good purchase.

Here's a couple pictures

No. The seller told me the engine was started when he bought it but he wasn't a nitro guy and couldn't tune it so that's why it wasn't driven. He moved onto electric and this sat ever since. I cycled the engine and it turns fine. There is a bottle or after run engine oil in the box too so I assume he dropped a few drops in there also. I reall don't have any intention of running it.

The body in the pics in the ad and even the ones I took the body looks used but it's brand new nice and shiny. Just painted. The truck also came with an MIP temp gauge I might stick on there for looks or I might sell. Not sure yet.
