Not MIP—it's an A&L belt drive. Prety nice tranny, actually. You can still find them new on eBay every once in a while, though mostly for Ultimas. The steering is the same company...

Chris Alec and Daryl Lane owned that company way back when. Now Daryl is Factory Works, and you can buy a brand new old school A&L trailing arm RC10 chassis (fiberglass) from him right now on eBay.

Saw this while surfing, pretty interesting setup with the custom blue arms, narrow front and rear, brace system (not a huge fun personally) and some nice machine work. Someone put some time into it

COOL STUFF!!!

I like the hopups very much, look beautiful and real tough. I think the buggy went high cause of the aluminum steering parts, titanium turnbuckles etc, just some cool parts that you can not get hold off, I guess.

Its certainly built...

Got most of the parts for this build. It will be all white parts except for the A&L steering. I have original rcps turnbuckles and a new Race Prep Hack Attack motor. More to come shortly.

Which RC10 came with a milled chassis?
Were there any differences between the milled and non-milled cars otherwise??

I've been looking for a decent Worlds buggy for a long time but they're getting scarce. I'm not really looking for a milled...

this chassis i actually got in lot of parts, and it was already cut how it is. when i saw it in the pics i thought i really had to have it for a shelfer. except for the front they almost went overboard, the paper tape in the first pic showed...

their were either 4 ot 5 of these milled and lightened chassis made. this team chassis was drilled and milled for lightness by Kyle Reed at the factory. all of them were made a little different. iam going to make it a lxt (since i have this really...

Heysguys im new to vintage rc hobby, but i wanna build old rc20t but i keep seeing old MIP tranny cases in different colors (flourecent yelow ,blue,etc) but cant seem to find them any hell woukd be great

Wanna try something extra trick on the shocks? Mill a flat on the shock body for the set screw to sit flat on. Never could figure out why no one ever tried that and left the set screw sit on a rounded body. Not a big performance option, but the best...
