ultimate rc10t in the making

iv got a vintage rc10t 1992 bushing edition converted to brushless (sidewinder 5700kv 2s lipo)
almost full metal tranny (diff is still plastic but still going strong)
proline road rage tires
traxxas rustler body (midnight blue)
full ball bearins
moded slipper
wheelie bar
several other misleaneis parts
rpm blue front and rear a arms on the way (originals broke over thanksgiving)
aluminum shock towers front and rear
same old 3 piece wheels
2 cell 5000mah 40c 80c burst (made by sky lipo)
futaba s-148 servo (oldie but a goody)
any other things to add to help inprove this beast it would help a great deal im restoring this not only cuze i love the hobby but cuze it was my dads fathers truck and he past away and i got it for chritsmas a few years ago

nice lookin truck v-tman and welcome to the forum. What shock towers you have on that thing? Almost look aluminum in the picture.

you are correct the are indeed aluminun my uncle milled them out for me last christmas

yeah it helps a lot unfortunetly he dosnt have the rite tooling to make me a hardnd steal diff but my diff works perfectly yeah im not sure what else to do to the truck any ideas

i plan to do that although i cant in tell my rpm a arms come in. my uncle sorta ran in into the back of a pick up tire doing 45 plus mph a broke the original white front a arms (not pretty) :shock: good thing in was only the a arms. will post pic of the updated truck with the body on when a arms get in

definitely one of the must have backup parts are arms IMHO along with a spur gear or 2 and arm mounts. If you break anything bigger than that it has deserved a rest waiting for parts :lol:

agreed to my suprise i have never broken that truck in the time iv had the thing (besides spur gears an idler but fixed that problem. gota love metal) :lol: ) its only when my uncle drives the truck. a couple weeks ago i raced a beet the newer 4.1 and xxxt cr its fun to watch ppls face drop when they get beet by an oldy

should i get the hydradrives for the t or just find a way to mod a t4 slipper assembley cuze i want a new slipper set up mine is going dead :(

get a t4 or b4 topshaft and slipper assy. Easy switch and your back to an updated slipper assy.

And ditch that servo!!! :lol:

Always amazing to see the cash people have in their rides and powerplants without a proper servo to even control the steering wheels!!!! :shock:

tuck is on hold intell spring like in febuary or march just had the top shaft threed strip out so im going to get the t4 top shaft with 4.1 vs slipper assembly mip cvds and new lipos and tires and rims
