Just ramping up here in Jersey. 1-2" per hour rain is moving in. Spent today prepping for power outage and flooding. I'm in a low lying area and have 4 sump pumps. Not a battery, flashlight or case of water to be found in any local store. I was informed about a possible mandatory power outage from pse&g to prevent damage to their equipment. For my $475 electric bill, They should drive out and give me a generator :x . Just going to ride it out and hope for little to no damage. Hang in there Mike the Island may get hit hard. Be safe everyone

Definitely. Please don't take it too lightly guys. In the mid-west we have so many storms you get to where you ignore them. That is until my house nearly burned down in the last one. Thank god for smoke alarms! Sucks if your power goes out for a few days! Be careful and get to a safe place even if it means going to your in-laws... I hope it fizzles out before it hits anyone too hard. Just getting back into my house after 70 days due to a nasty storm... Be overly cautious.

I don't want to turn this in a direction it shouldn't go in but this whole storm has revolved around money and fear mongering to the full extent. I just wanted to get that off my chest, and feel better now. :P

Anyway, stay safe.

The funny thing if any, is that my cars are further inland at the track's back room and I'm closer to the coast.....
