Doug's original RC10T

Post by DougH »

Here is my original RC10T purchased when they were first released. Its been hanging on the wall in the garage for years waiting for a restoration. Only two things I had to replace were a rear limkage and body mount. Don't tell anyone but the rear tires are actually from Losi, I had to turn the sidewall around to hide the logo! Last shot is of my original body, it's not in bad shape considering its 20 years old. ( and I've still got both sets of front tires)

Nice looking T. I just got done restoring one and I really liked working on an AE tub that wasn't a car for a change. I still need to find a body and decal set to finish it off.

I bought the body from ebay, do a search and you'll find a couple of sources. Theree are also some on this site. I had a bunch of the decals in my tool box and had a few left from my RC10 restoration.

I haven't searched real hard. I think I will get one of Mr.Lexan's but I think he is out right now as his store is not listing any.

I'm missing the skinny tires. I always wondered how the truck would drive with them. Anyone know if the front bites harder with the narrow tires?
2x rc10 A stamped, rc10t, rc18t, 3x rc10gt tamiya stuff - fox, lunchbox re-release, Custom chevy clod crawler, cc-01 pajero, 2x cc-01, kt full option, and 3 HL tanks. Looking for a rc250 and rc500

on a fast oval they tend to push more than a standard wide tire but if you want your truck to handle like a buggy on an tight offroad track find a set and try them out  .
