I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some 17mm Hex adapters that will fit the rear axle(3/16"?) of Rc10t. It seems everything on ebay doesn't look like they will fit properly..to my untrained eye anywhays. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I think they are HPI "star" rims. And I'm not exactly sure its 17mm..but I'm fairly sure. I could be wrong since I'm at work right now and I don't have them in front of me.
I just made a pair of 12mm hex hubs to adapt the 1/4 axles to Tamiya's wheels. I use the plastic hubs from Tamiya and widen the pin sides with a 1/4 ball grinder on a had drill at slow speed. Grind till the pin sit nicely on the hubs. Thereafter, I glue these hubs on a 3mm acrylic sheet and saw them off. This will give you a offset of 8-8.5mm as most hubs are 5-5.5mm thick only. You also need to sand 1-1.5mm off a the wings of your hub carriers. It fit nicely with near to correct offset. I'm currently using the front and rear wheels of Tamiya's Desert Gator on my gold tub runner.
Ya I tried salvaging some hex adapters that were from some generic RC I found. However they wouldn't fit on the axles so I had to do a little dremmel work. It seems like it might work for a while, but I doubt it will hold forever. Thats why I was looking for some new ones.
ok guys, the birdsboro r/c club is in need of some of the old losi A-3259 TOURING CAR WHEEL HEX ADAPTERS. here is the situation, we currently run losi A-7041 xx 5 spoke front wheels on the rear so we can run schumacher stagger rib's on all four...

i'd run my terminator. it just needs to be cleaned up. i haven't used it for like 2 years, and it's still dirty from the last race. i'm good with batteries, too.
does anyone make an adapter like this for Tamiya to run the Fox 4 pin wheels on a Tamiya? I have some proline fox wheels I want to use as runner wheels but the super hornet adapters are to long?

These would work. There are several on eBay for $4.99.
I am looking for a wheel adapter that will let me use modern wheel/tire combinations with my Ultimas and Optimas. I've seen a couple of parts on eBay that claim to do this, but none look very durable. Any experiences/recommendations?
Has anyone made the th-1 wheel adapters fit a worlds car? What has to be done.. Can you drill the hub to 3/16th? Or should I source 1/4 axels? What about the front wheels? Just ordered a set.. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!...

I've tried to settle on a standard configuration of Dean's 4 pin micro plug connectors for brushed motors and Traxxas iD connectors for battery/ESC/charger, but now am finding that with my small collection of brushless motors I have some 3.5mm...

this is what I use, but I need to add some tubing to the clips like in your picture. My clips bite too deeply into older wire unless i protect it somehow. I've been...
in 2013 I inherited the RC10T from my late best man. That car itself will be for a different shelf project down the road.
Anyway, going through that box at my parents' house I found these wheels and adapters:

yokomo called those tamiya adapters, but yes they work for kyosho too. Yokomo for some reason didn't realise this and made kyosho adapters with conical faces which replaced the kyosho hexes
I just picked up a BossCat chassis, but it had no wheels with it. was there anyone that made a hex adapter for the schumacher from back then? I don't remember any companies running hex hubs back then, but I thought I would ask.
I'm going to need to...

Looks to be in salvageable condition, not bad.
If You didn´t get side stitch of joy when You got it - then You should trade it of for something else :D
Bosscat is one of the easier, old Schumacher buggy´s, to find parts for IMO.
Put up a request...
