The lower chassis shape looks to be from Jrx2 with curves close to steering servo. Is the front kickup 20-degrees with bumper modification that adds about 8-degrees more or is it 30-degrees in the chassis?

The rear shock tower seems to be Jrx2 part with only one top mounting hole option. If someone have both Jrx2 rear shock tower and proformance kit/JrxPro rear shock tower could send a pic where Jrx2 shock tower placed on top of JrxPro shock tower so that four mounting holes to rear bulkhead are placed in line. It would be nice to see where the Jrx2 only shock mounting hole would be compared to JrxPro nine different holes.
Here goes. This will be a mostly stock build of a JRX2 Proformance buggy. However, I couldn't help but finally open up my Uber rare gold Losi shock bodies.
I removed the mount on top of the transmission case. I feel it's a much cleaner look...

Did you use a different screw for the steering brace? Mine seemed to make the steering bind but it could have been operator error. And do those shock cartridges work a lot better than stock?
I'm after some direction for my JRX build. A while back, I purchased an Ebay JRX Pro with the idea of restoring it to run at this year's Vintage Festival. After receiving the car, I noticed a lot of...
I wanted to post some information about the Jrx2 Proformance kit.
The proformance kit is basically converts the x2 into a pro. The kit came out before the jrx pro (like the lxt conversion came out before the lxt kit).
When upgrading the original jrx2 to a pro using the proformance kit what shocks are used in the front? The original short body (.6)? I know the production jrx pro uses a long shock and shaft (.9). There is a post on here with the entire upgrade...

That was perfect! The box clarifies that there are long shocks used in the proformance kit in the front. Those gold shocks are super nice I have a set on a stellar jrx pro se
(Again) I have tried to collect some information and parts for my next project before making it public. I try to to make this the most important/best project that I will ever make. The project will be Team Losi's Jrx2 Proformance kit prototype car...
I'm new to the board - I think this is only my 2nd post. I've been enjoying looking at all the vintage cars and builds. I've been racing since 1987 and have probably wheeled every one of the cars on these boards at one time or another. It's...
This will be my first Jrx2 build , just picked this up locally over the weekend along with a small box of parts. Looks like all the parts are still there to reassemble the 5 link. Performance and durability wise which is the better set up to use and...

Our local hobby shop charges a premium for vintage parts. You can hardly get buggy rims there any more, much less 2.0. :x
