Runner Yokomo Build

Just picked up a yokomo, and I am planning on building it up as a runner to use with our little vintage group we have up here. I have some questions as to what I actually have as i seem to see a few variations on the YZ10. My plan is too build a new chassis/top brace from 2-3mm aluminum to bulletproof and to make room for 2s pack instead of the hump pack.
The trackwidth is even but with the wheeladapters the front wheel would hit the rod ends so do I install the wider adapters? (I have them).
And something leads me to believe the front a-arms are too wide was this a upgrade ppl did??
Also a lillte confused on the different belts, pulleys, parts #s etc
So if you guys dont mind have a look at the pictures and let me know what you see/think

actually it's a 91 with 93 rear shock tower/torque brace/ti turnbuckle's, that front tower looks cool home made perhaps. good find mate

looks like a 91 chassis with 93 drive train and a YR4 rear tower on the front, with yokomo front shocks and associated rears. The front looks like you might have the wrong wheel adapters on the axles...I dont think the wheels should be that close to the tie rod ends. The chassis top brace is listed on ebay right now, so are a few other parts.

Kind of looks like a 93 with the wrong chassis underneath to me.

I was trying to build a 93 works but the chassis is nearly impossible to find...LOL. So I have ended up with about the same setup you have there. Everything has been NIP with the exception of a used works 91 chassis. The parts are out there you just have to look for them for a while...Or get with Aaron or Al.

93 works had a factory TCS, 3mm belt's, and different ti turnbuckle's(anodised) steering brace off the front bulkhead and a steering rack set-up, this buggy has none of that and looks to have 2mm fine pitch belts

So how does the parts # system work for these cars?? the front belt reads zc-653 rear 491j is this the number I look for or is there a corisponding part #?? how about gears??
So as the kids say this is a HYBRID lol ..heinz57 which is ok by me.
I dont like either shocks so I look for something more modern.
Is there supposed to be a belt tensioner pulley??
Thanks guys you rock.

It actually looks like a YR-4 conversion to buggy.

Had sometime today did some mockup where I want the battery and such and needed the chassis to have a little different shape so cut out the new one and installed keep in mind no filing or polishing has been done yet and still in the early stages, the top brace needs to go on a diet and the bottom possibly too.

How about a 8 x 15 sheet of 1/8 G10 ( Original Parma ) to help you along ? And maybe the loan of my 870c for inspiration ? Hook you up Friday
