stripped hole in 10T nose

The main screw for the steering bell crank has a stripped hole in the 10T nose. Any suggestions to fix it? I thought about peening it over a touch on the threads and then using my special locktite.

what is SWB/LWB... i had to google this, i assume you mean wheel base?
It is set up as the long now, i can move it but preferred to keep it there it is.
If there is no decent fix then i will.

Do i cut the tubes too then, i see there was not an extra hole in the side for that WB change

you can try using a center punch and punching around the hole, maybe....5 times or so? then use locktite.

another option would be to use a small piece of aluminum approx. the same thickness as the chassis, like a thin jamnut between the two screws(make it fit between both screws, and you don't have to hold it to tighten the screws. It will make the bellcranks sit slightly higher, but it may work.
