Well the motor came in for the Buggy Champ today so I startesd working on it. next thing I new the whole car was back apart I am going to redo the whole thing. I ordered up a waterproof servo. I think I am going to take the sport tuned out and go brushless. I want water proof with out that horrible box. as this is my main SRB runner. I also opened the trans up to have a look its seen a lot of beach action. it looked great and I went ahead and painted the gearbox houseing and rear arms. they were starting to corode alittle. so I thought a coating would look better, for the back ground for the motor. here are some of the details on the motor. I have some model car decals for the coil. and it will get plug wires the stinger exhaust will be here in a few days. I painte the sheilding blue but I think I might redo it black? what does everyone think?

I was only thinking blue because the car is blue. I went ahead and painted the whole trans housing black on this one. more for corosion control. but to keep it a little more scale.

Well thanks to Red Scampy I have a new Super Champ. this is the first RC car I ever had. I walked into a hobby shop when I was 14 and fell in love with the Sand Scorcher. the sales man said this was the newest and best thing out their. so I let him talk me into it and I was the proud owner of a new Super Champ. and it has been history from their. well I sold mine and my Wild Willys about 9 years ago and have always been sorry. So now I have one thats much nicer than the one I had (mine had the crap ran out of it  ) now the hunt is on for a body.

Now all I need is a F150 and my Knight Beach Buggy and my SRB collection will be complete

Well after a long search I figured its going to take a while to find a body for my New Super Champ. I had a extra Buggy Champ Body, so I cut the top of it off and decided to make a Super Champ body. or at least something that looks something like a SC body. I took some 3/16 Plstic rod and bent up a roll cage. I think it came out ok. still a lot of work to do but makeing some progress. this was the original Gold buggy champ body that came in my kit.
