So does anyone know what is the difference between this kit and the 2009 kit other than a gold plated body? their sure is a big price difference between them.

And the body isn't like the gold or metal editions, as far as I understand it's just painted and they forgot to do the roof

and on the tower home page they have a 20.00 off I ordered it last night. I will repaint the body for 100.00 bucks off!
I want a Scorcher also but I couldnt bite at 300.00 my tower club ran out. so I renewed it hopefuly I will get a 60 off then a SS will find its way to my house.

With all the savings I would just put that gold body on the side for shelf use, and get mr. Lexan's funco single seater lexan body for running.bearrickster wrote:and on the tower home page they have a 20.00 off I ordered it last night. Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ Kit Exclusive Edition
Nobody else finds this disgusting? Tamiya Japan had to tell the Tamiya America to do this I would imagine. They had to get the supply of decals for the box from somewhere, and the authority to do it no?Synergy wrote:And the body isn't like the gold or metal editions, as far as I understand it's just painted and they forgot to do the roof![]()
