Maybe it's just me or I believe that Vintage RC Cars such as the RC10 share the same appeal to the vintage japanese die cast robots from the 70's and 80's. Having said this, I think it's time that someone make a nice picture book about vintage RC Cars similiar to a book that I own with photographs by Tim Brikso (http://www.timbrisko.com). Tim Brisko is a photographer who published a book called Super No. 1 Robot that featured japanese die-cast robots from the 70's and 80's. Also now a collectable, these robots were kids toys way back when and are now high priced collectables like our vintage rc cars. The book featured a little bit of history and it really shows the contrast of toys in the present age. Maybe there is a book out there about RC Cars but a book that is simillar to Tim Brisko's book will be awesome. The restoration builds in this forum alone and considering the number of RC Makes and Models from the early days would be more than enough to make a couple of editions.
Below is Tim Brisko's book. Cool toys + awesome photography = nice book
