MIP Trailing Arm/ Pro Track Build

Post by railey72 »

Just finished this build over the weekend. The MIP kit showed up in a parts lot I bought off craigslist about a year ago. It was a nice find because I didn't know it was included. The only part that wasn't there was the shock tower (Thanks Shodog :D ).

Parts breakdown:
1. MIP Trailing Arm Kit
2. Pro-Track nerf bars
3. Pro-Track rear bumper
4. Thorp tie-rod kit
5. MIP steering post kit (The only thing that actually improves performance)
6. Dirt Burners aluminum wing
7. Losi aluminum wheel covers
8. Bigjeepzz aluminum shock collars (these are awesome. If Jake makes these again, buy them!)

The plan was to build a buggy that looked really old-school, kind of like the old hopped up Rough Riders with crp nerfs and cages.

That looks great. Now I know why you needed the shock tower so badly

Thanks for the comments! It was a fun build and for some reason the MIP kit and Pro-track parts just seemed to look good together (kind of like two wrongs making a right). If anyone is looking for one of these bumpers I think there is one on ebay right now.

Here is a pic of the MIP steering post kit. I had never seen one before until a good friend sent it to me.
