Storm 2000 help!!!

Post by tazz888 »

I just got my hands on all the carbon plate peices for an electric Storm 2000. I have a sizeable amount of cougar 2000 parts already and was wondering if anyone can tell me what other parts are unique to the Storm 2000? Also if anyone happens to have some of these parts, if there are any other unique parts that they are willing to sell. I'm trying to get one built to compleate my collection of 2000 series of Schuemacers.

Hi tazz,

I think the unique Storm 2000 bits (other than all the carbon parts) are:

Wheels
Front bulkhead
Centre steering link (?)
Chassis cover

See piccies here of mine http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=72439&sid=23061

Cheers,

Ian

Ian,
Thanks for the info and pics. I think I'm all set now. Bromac has all the parts I need. Once I get them from him ill get it together and post some pics.

The chassis and top plate at least are also specific (wider).

I have the exploded view of the Storm 2000 with the specific parts in my manual book, but I'm moving and this is on the way to my new home. If I don't forget, I'll tell you the specific parts.

Julien

edit : ok, I'm a fool, I haven't seen the "carbon parts" part... I'll check for the specific parts anyway.
