Vintage Revolution Motors

Hey all,

Anyone have a complete listing of the motors and their turns & winds? Can't seem to find a complete catalog of all the Losi Revolution motors.

One motor I have has a "I" inscribed into the endbell and the other has a "K". Any ideas what these are, cause I forget.
I'm guessing an Insane (16 Triple) and a Killer, but I can't find any stats on the Killer, just the recommended gearing chart info. If anyone knows
the Killer, please share...

and does any one have a pic of the insane i have been trying to locate one and i have a pkg ordered that may contain one not quite sure yet and any other info (turns,etc) also

Hey thanks man......I guess the Insane is a 15 double, not a 16 triple as I've seen talked about before...

Still can't find anything about the Killer tho, anyone have any ideas?

BTW: Does anyone have any scans, pics or anything from those ROAR nats from the 80's or early 90's other that RCCA? Especially from 5-link Jrx2 and Proformance kit race pics, result, drivers in A-main and equipments used.

Thanks for posting this. Now we finally have all old revolution windings. Does anybody know which of these are dry- and which wetmagnets? Can same motor, like early "Motown Missle" be drymagnet at first and then changed to wetmagnet, when technology was available?

hey guys i know this post is old but i have a revolution motor but have no clue as to wich one on the molded end bell there is yokomo molded in the plastic an it has two screws to hold the end bell to the can red an yellow label with what looks like a black can or dark green

Could You post a picture from the can sticker? Is the wind single, double, triple, quad or quintuple?

Yeah, I'll try to get a new pic but have no clue as to what the wind is. That's why I'm asking here. Now in the pic it looks like the labels are different colors. Mine has red letters with a yellow background color. Here's a pic of it for ya.

I'm sorry to say, but I think that about half of Revolutions looks like that. That is why I did ask, is the motor single, double, etc. That check is easy to do, just open and remove the endbell, after that the wiring can be seen. Above in this topic is a list of different winds and on some motors, like MTM, Motown Missle and Jr's Choise, there is a special sticker on them. With this information together, sticker and number of wires, it might be possible to find out what Your motor is or at least is not.
