Looks like a great deal for the budget racer. They even have receivers to suit for $22.95.Would be best to check if they have end point adjustment etc.

Re: cheap 2.4 ghz
my question is what is a bind cable? hopefully you wouldn't have to use this every time you turned the system on. not a bad price but i would be interested in knowing how well it does before i picked one up.

Probably like the bind plug Spektrum uses on it's airplane receivers. Only used to bind the TX/RX, then it isn't needed again until you want to re-bind the system.LowClassCC wrote:my question is what is a bind cable? hopefully you wouldn't have to use this every time you turned the system on. not a bad price but i would be interested in knowing how well it does before i picked one up.
Years ago I started off with nothing ... and I still have most of it left.

Re: cheap 2.4 ghz
I am liking our Traxxas Link radios right now. I got three (2 for the kids)... folks are parting them out from kits for about $75 on ebay (tx & rx). The receivers are about $38 each and you can run 20 models off one transmitter. Not all fancy, but at only 4 batteries in the tx I am saving from having to charge 96 AAs before we go out for the day.
Plus if we ever break a transmitter I know we'll be able to find a replacement... some of those knock-offs are truly disposable. To each his own though.

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: cheap 2.4 ghz
I picked up a new Losi handset for my micro crawler, and 3 sr300 spektrum rxs for $100 the lot, which pair to the Losi fine, all in all a good system for all my micros for around $150.
The Traxxas Summit radio with 4ch is avaailable in 2.4 about $100 on ebay as well.
