XXX Kinwald Edition buggy

Post by briang »

Here is my NIB XXX Kinwald. I may actually build it one day, but I already have a kinwald runner. Looking at a new built one on the shelf would be more fun though.

Here is one I picked up on ebay. Never ran. I just have to take my time painting the body. I also noticed the decals in the kit are not outlined in blue like the box art. so I ordered some bk2 decals for it . I have the CR nib and a bk2 basket case the I am restoring.

I have the correct decals for it but the box art shows blue outline like the bk2.

Great cars! I always miss those never run cars on fleabay... I love building them, but with your second one, I might leave the other one in it's box, but then again... I can't leave a kit in it's box for long... LOL

I have a nib XXX CR that i haven't opened yet. The kinwald has a gen II trans and the bk2 has a genI trans. The chassis on the xxx series I think are all the same with differant eching on the the cr. also rear carriers are differant on the cr.

I just picked up a XXX BK1 runner on ebay. It definitely has a different transmission than my XXXT graphite. The A arms are surprisingly different as well; it is much narrower than the XXXT.

Haven't had time to look into it too much but I'll post pics of both my Losi XXX cars when I get the chance.
