Some pics of my paintjobs...

Post by HotRodJosh »

Some of these are my own rigs...others for WARCRC club members...
I'm really into traditional hot rods and early customs, and the paintwork of 60's-early '70's mild customs and lowriders, so my paintwork leans towards that kinda stuff, rather that the typical "graphics' everyone seems to be painting these days.
I also do custom painting on 1:1 cars, but these are funner to do....less shop space.

My nearly finished MRP.

My 1.9 'Yota scaler. My favorite. It's getting fresh paint for the Montana Scale Nats, she's pretty scratched up these days.

My 2.2 Chevy scaler....Axial. And my 3.3 Revo. I just love the C-10 body.

Thanks guys...
Gary, that pic was taken at the top of Snoqualmie Pass, Lake Kecheelus sp?. It one of the clubs comp areas. Great place for RC's, whether iit's planes, boats, crawlers or go-fast nitros....but ya gotta go later in the summer when the water is down.

Ahh, I kind of recognize it now. That's the lake by the freeway that usually looks half empty!

I had to do a double take on this one first cause I thought it was a real 1:1 truck and second cause I recognized it from the May issue of RCCA's Readers Ride of the Month! Very nice work and congrats! 8)

I just cut out cardboard with a pattern for a template. Used transparent green in an airbrush.
