how are you supposed to set it? it was already in the truck, i just put the motor and electronics in to test it.its free of dirt and debris. i swapped out the trans for another spare i had, but still , need to figure out whats wrong with this one because it will go along with a car i sell or trade.

Be sure that your diff is tighten properly and follow each and every instruction from the Stealth manual. Be sure that the diff nut is on the left side so that you tighten the diff on the right side (motor plate side) otherwise each time you will pull the trigger your diff will unscrew...

Sounds like the diff bolt has loosened up . Or it may have been overtightened and has broke the plastic nut holder the keys into the outdrive. I would pull the trans take it apart and check the diff.

The most important thing with diff rebuilds is to make sure there is little to no slip. If the diff is slipping it will generate heat and ultimately melt your diff centre which is made of plastic. I'd rather run a diff thats a little more tighter than too loose.
