Hello, this is my gold RC10. I bought it used but in very good shape, I only buy a few parts to get it as nice as possible without spending too much money.
I know it's not the perfect one, but I really like it.
Yes, that is very well done. The chrome wheels are suhweet.
I shall be rigging my own photo box or whatever they are called. Dang the pictures are so nice!!
There was a set by Associated that were chrome plated but the part number escapes me at the moment. They are hard to find in good shape! Then there was aluminum wheel covers made by Losi and a few others that look really good shined up, I have a set of Losi's on my 6016. I think there's a set on ebay up for auction, I'll try to find a link for you.
I snagged a set new in the package on eBay a few months back. Paid a pretty penny for them too. Now, what to do with them? I just can't bring myself to open the package.
The original "6010" RC10 looks like that, but mine is not very original :the chassis is a later "C" version (brighter yellow color and drilled for the stealth tranny) and a few parts are from a Championship edition.

I won this on E-bay a couple of weeks ago. Even though the seller claimed it had a stealth trans you could tell by the fuzzy pics that it didn't. I got it for a decent price so that didn't bother me. I would like some help identifying the body...
My latest addition to the family. Sweet rolling chassis and white parts acquired from KvilleKrawler,Body and wing from Atlas, and the alloy rims from GMC572.Real happy with it.Looks great on my shelf.Got a new unpainted body with it.Gonna have to...

that is one sweet tub....i wish i could find one like that....please don't bring it within 100 yards of dirt or concrete.
Just curious....I figure it might be different for a shelfer, or I might look into power coating or anodizing after I smooth it out. I have all the tools for polishing, so thought that would be my most economical option.
Here is a closeup of my old...

Dig this........ Oven cleaner takes the anodizing off, but won't touch the paint! ZipStrip took care of that. 8)
I have two different gold tubs here, one with the standard gold shiny anodizing and one with an orange matte like finish. I remember someone mentioning them in another post but can't find it with the search button. Was something special about the...
I'm not sure what those rear arm are but the front ones seems to be Andy's racing arm. The other piece that looks like...

Also consider that you can use different length turnbuckles in different locations with different length ball cups. i.e., short Lunsford blacks or stock Associated cups will use different length rods than a long Losi ball cup will. You can mix and...
I picked this up in a trade. Its got the gold tub and a 6 gear tranny. Was the 10T ever produced with a gold tub or is this a buggy with a conversion kit? Any help is appreciated.

Hi guys, got a few qtns to bother you. I've recieved a gold tub with lots of holes drilled for weight lightening. The worst thing is that the chassis is slightly bend upward. Any way to straighten the chassis. Also, any ideas to fill the holes like...

A good design but also a expensive one due to the cost of the CF...
Any body have experience doing this? I'm getting going on doing some DIY anodizing. As I was prepping the tub (put it on a reference plate) I noticed that it is seriously out of flat. About 3/8 over the length if I hold one end down.
I read here...

No, no, no! This:
...actually I put a block of wood on the inside and outside to protect the finish, then put one end of the chassis in my bench vise. Then I can apply appropriate pressure on the other end. It's a bit springy so you have...
