B2 short / standard chassis

Hello all!

Are there different sizes of the B2-chassis available: short / standard length?? If yes, how much shorter is the short chassis?

I think it's about 5mm shorter. In 1/10 rc that's a big difference!

Hi

i am building a RC10B2 and I wonder what are the differences between the short (shorter :o ) and the standard chassis. My concern is if in the short one will the body fit and how much I will need to modify the body. thanks for your help!

I don't remember and am too lazy and busy to dig out to measure :roll: but I think they are about 1/4 different. Body should be fine on either.

I bought my T3 just when the long chassis became the kit standard, but came across a short chassis/battery hold down that had be used as a mid motor dirt oval car. Wondering if the short T3 is the rarest of the breed. No pictures as the chassis is...

Thanks Jeff. I have got to dig out my B3/T3 chassis, I have the XL T3 in Carbon, as well as the composite from the kit. I also have the B2 SWB in carbon. I'll report my finds with measurements. Glad to have the three different battery straps in...

Was the original short arm car ever supplied with an AB stealth drilled chassis? Timeline says yes but there’s a strong opinion out there that the answer is no 🤔

I posted a while back about some headaches with a stripped screw where the triangular front top plate connects to the B3 chassis that I had to drill out and ruined the chassis. I got a replacement on ebay labeled as a NIP B3 chassis.

I got it and...

I went and did a rough measurement and it's a lot more than 5 mm. I think I have a T3 chassis.

I'm in the process of collecting the parts to build a JRX2 - it's not so easy from the UK as all parts are coming from overseas - there are few cars and parts in the UK. I'd ideally like to end up with one of the early short wheel base trailing arm...

I'm interested in seeing a picture of the RPM part. 8015

It was listed as a part in the RPM worlds 7077 team car 91 worlds team car front end kit. Was there anything special about them?

Whilst 1/12 is usually my thing, I do have a soft spot for the first YR-F2, the fibreglass one with no oil filled dampers. I have had a look though this bit of the foum and I can see very little about them. I think I have most of the bits to build...

I just bought a new built rc 1o graphite.

Its full of carbon fiber, Chassis, Shock towers, Tranny brace.

Its also got lots of blue alloy bits like rear suspension blue alloy blocks.

Blue alloy servo mounts, aerial tube holder , blue titanium turn...

This car is pretty much a standard rc10 graphite team car, shocks and transmissions can vary
between stealth and grey shocks, 6 gear & gold shocks.
