body repair question

I planned to set a small piece of lexan in silicone under the body to prevent further damage. Any other suggestions?

Also I would appreciate any info as to where I can find this 87 F150 body.

ShoeGoo in a blop on the crack, and don't worry about the lexan re-inforcement. You won't need it. If you want bulletproof, a piece of mesh window screen plastic weave in the 'Goo will leave an almost fiberglass-like fill.

It isn't pretty on the inside, but it works.

Thanks apex... everything I need is in the shed!

Funny, ShoeGoo was my first choice but I was unsure about any paint effect.
