RC10 B Chassis

I have a sillyish question-I have an RC10T2 and I'm using my T4 a lot more,now.
I'd love to put a clean chassis on it (mine has a hole for a servo saver cut into it

)-Would a 'B' stamped black RC10 chassis fit,or is the T2 chassis itself longer?
For some reason I thought that the actual chassis length was the same,but got some extra length from using a longer nose plate?
Anyone?

Just fo' the hell of it...

Guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for a new T2 chassis.
That truck is one of my fave's.Atom bomb proof!

I just found more pics of an old rc10 build that I did over 10yrs ago.

A few people have asked if I had anymore pics for better viewing and details.

Since this isn't a fresh build, I'll answer any questions asked and answer what I can remember...

I just got this chassis off e-bay to finish my RC10 graphite box art, however who makes it? Its not a original AE, but I have no clue what company it is. It has the holes drilled for the stealth so I don't think its a Q10 chassis. Attached are some...

i'm not impressed with the cafepress stuff...

the melvins art front black t is just about the only thing that turned out how it should.

i'll probably broom a bunch of the stuff and just have the one basic design.

Is the Worlds car the only one that had the black milled chassis and the Team cars just had a regular black tub like found on the 10T and DS?

Why is it that everyone has to drill holes into a rc10 chassis. I think everything rc10 chassis i have gotten since i have gotten into the rc10 have had holes drilled into it. Some have been drilled in so odd places too.

Those Litespeed sinks are cool. I had one on my Optima Mid. The only thing is I wish they allowed the rear curved part of the chassis to bolt onto them somehow.

Hi all,

Got this in a job lot .
It's been re-sprayed blue and there's a few extra holes.
The milled bits, one is rough could have been home done.
Back motor guard, very neat, but cut down?
The sides seem to be thiner than any other pan I have??...

While I think it was just slimmed down a bit in the rear, it does look like it was very well done. I think it would be a great start for an old/new build. :mrgreen:

I searched around a bit and didn't find any info on a Tekin RC10 chassis conversion.

I stumbled across one in my area and am thinking about making an offer but I'd like to know more about them first.

I have finally found a guy that is able to mill my chassis to look like the worlds chassis. Only thing is that he has never done one so he does not know the exact dimensions and I have never even seen one to know them. Does anyone have template that...

there is also a thread somewhere about the dimensions on this. the depth of the cut was in there as the thickness of an AE flatwasher IIRC. Try the search in the Vintage RC10 Section for it and might be able to have time to check out some of the...
