Man,I was waiting for someone to pull their finger out and do this...Kind of a bummer i bought one of Erich's for NZ$120,but no worries.
I bought a Team Bluegroove BigWig repro body a few weeks ago and it is crisp and sharp.
An EXACT copy-I have an OG Tamiya shell to compare it to and they got it RIGHT on the money!
(Yeah,I'm buying every part new off eBay to build a BigWig...Not sure why!
Just something different...
Nearly there,too...
I bought a body from them for my Tamiya Wild one, it looks great? to bad I lost intrest in the project and it now all boxed up. but I got a Erich Jrx2 I am happy with that one also. the only thing I wasnt happy with was the wing? and itwould be fine on a runner.
i have several stock Losi V wings so I just used one of those?
I ordered a Team Bluegroove JRX2 to see how it looks. I wasn't here when Erich was taking orders for his but I may see if he has some left and do a side by side comparo.
Just got one! I have never done a box art body, I think I will try one this time. I got a decal sheet in another auction, so I should be able to do a nice box art repro. Can't wait to get it.

Can't say enough good things about the Team Bluegroove BigWig body I bought.
I'd love to see a side-by-side comparo with a Bluegroove and one of Erich's bodies.
I just got one of bluegroves jrx2 bodies in the mail today and the quality is outstanding.Im very happy with it.I will be ordering more bodies from them soon.
Would this body fit the Jrx-Pro? I know the Pro's chassis is longer so I know it wouldnt be a perfect fit. I'm tired of looking for a pro body that wont cost me a fortune....
I was told by another member that a-8008 body which is currently available at Horizon will fit the pro and it is less than $20. The 8008 is the body for the XX also we measured up the fit of a Junior 2 body and it fit the Pro very nicely but they are tough to find. I personally am waiting for a member here to use a very nice mold he has made and repro some Pro bodies for our consumption.

The jrx pro and the junior 2 chassis are the same width. The reason the XX body will not fit a stock jrx pro is because of the rear shock tower. The XX body dips down where the body mounts to the rear shock tower. The pro SE and junior 2 have a grove in the rear shock tower while the pro is straight accross.
So, the body can fit a pro, but it will sit about 1/4 of an inch higher. One solution would be to use the pro SE rear tower on the car.
I've recently picked up a JRX-T for a runner, thinking of converting it to a buggy - is is the same chassis outline as the Pro? It seems longer and straighter on the sides than the original JRX-2 I have.
Hello
I am a big fan of kyosho lazer and the problem of lazer it is bodies thus to resolve this probleme I have to decide of realized my own reproduction (lazer ZX ZXR and MAXXUM)

That sucks. :( Just like polycarbonate, there are different grades of PETG. The cheaper ones may be junk, but I'm very happy with the grade I use. That said, I still wouldn't use PETG for anything other than a runner body that I'd expect to be...
I had these original bodies painted by Mr. Gary Kyes who also painted many of the early box art bodies including the original JRx2 and JRxPRO. I'll post pictures as soon as I find the time to trim them, mount them up, and apply the original decals....

I love the JRXPro Box Art paint scheme, but its got to be the hardest one to do? :?
I really like the look of the Cougar2, and the belt drive tranny is really enticing, but the schueys are kind of elusive here in the States. Imena they are rarely on ebay here. SO, I was thinking of throwing the body on something else instead, just...

Have a look on eBay.co.uk Steve Haskins sells cougar shells, 1,2 and club 10
has anyone had a Teambluegroove body in hand? Any feedback on the quality? They are more affordable than other ones, I was wondering if they're still worth covering a painfully restored 10T?
thanks!

Quick update - haven't done the astute body yet, but there's a ton of new repros available from TBG... and some of them now specifically say .30 lexan ... PRices are still very friendly...
Does someone knows if there are Tamiya Top Force repro bodies
available some where ?

yes, I think we're talking about the same: the dogfighter with the chain.
I don't own that car, just a body and it looks a good fit with minimal modification on the tray. For use on the dogfighter chassis the undertray is probably too short in the...
Thought I'd show ya'll what a Team Bluegroove repro BigWig body looks like on a car.
I just popped it on a parts car,to check the dimensions, still a little trimming to do.
It's for my NIP BigWig build....Getting there!
Couldn't resist popping the...

Very cool. Put me down for 2 as I need them both!

I forgot to tell anyone who might be wondering, but the Bluegroove is a fantastic body! The wing is done very well also. The lexan is really thick. My only gripe is that there is no overspray but that isn't a big deal.
