Ups

I'll have to cut the mount off and perhaps fit the Nitro Rustler suspension mounts

I fixed it

Cut the old mount of and made an alloy brace to hold the housing together

I used SRT/Nitro Rustler mounts in stead

I'm not sure how you're attaching the control arm mounts, but I'd recommend using threadlocked nuts & bolts, not self-tapping screws...I'm thinking self-tapping screws, especially when installed from beneath, will eventually result in the mounts shearing off from the forces they're subjected to. Just a thought.

@ Todd
It was either that or mill a new gearbox

It's 7mm narrower like this,
I only need to sand a bit more off the chassis and mount's so the arms can move freely
and then I can test it to see if this will alter the handling too much

@ Coelacanth
I use the standard 4mm countersunk screws
This method has worked for years on the TRX-3, SRT and lately, the Nitro Rustler
If they come loose I can use a longer screw and nut

like I do on my RC10T Hybrid

Proline sure loves the Slash....

Other than the chassis, is there anything they don't make for it?

Very cool!!! I can't wait till my kids are long enough to have their own hobby grade RCs :D My son has the hang of back and forth, but still can't really do the steering.

The AX10 is a cool ideal, slow and controllable.

Most of the time I end up with the AX10 and She's bashing my E-Maxx
She wants Her E-Maxx to be faster then mine
